Meet the Team

Josh Tavares first joined IPLA in 2021 and advanced to his current paralegal role in 2024. He provides a unique blend of technological expertise and disciplined service to our trademark practice.  He is well versed in all aspects of domestic and international trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and maintenance.  

Before joining the legal field, Josh served six years in the United States Marine Corps in Camp Pendleton, CA. When not focused on trademark law, Josh enjoys reading, writing fantasy novels, and spending time with his dog Frodo.
